GOD IS GREAT S’ VICTORY AGAINST LESOTHO COUNTER PART TAKE PART ACADEMY
Our beloved Academy welcomed Take Part Academy from Lesotho,who came with their seniors for friendly games with our under 17 and 19 Divisions.Our beloved Academy players showed character managed the game quite well and scored 3 goals during the first 45 mins , before our under 19 Division came in for second half and they scored 2 goals , which ended the game in 5_1 in favour of God is Great Academy.The management would like to take this opportunity to thank Take Part Academy Management for visiting our beloved Academy.
TECHNICAL TEAM S’ WORK FOR UNDER 17
Credit to our technical team for the role they play in developing this young players and make sure that ,even our under 17 do managed to play against the open Divisions without fear .From the management,we are very proud of the boys, particularly the level of maturity in Our under 19 players made sure that our opponents didn’t even manage to get a chance to dominate the game.

GOD IS GREAT 6th ANNIVERSARY
God Is Great Sports Academy turned 6 years ,on the 16th July 2022 since were established in 2016.They couldn’t turn a blind eye from the fact that Adidas still supporting them regarding their gears etc, also the Chairman happily “said” Adidas too good for them since 2016, They decided to continue with their partnership , because it produced luck before ,most of their Graduates Successful playing for professional Academies and Team.They Celebrated the 6th Anniversary with Style .The management made sure by getting Tracksuits from Adidas regarding upcoming Season 2022/23.They thank God for his Blessings on their beloved Academy,as they Continue to serve Football Development with passion .
FORMER PLAYER VISITED THE ACADEMY
Matala Christopher Makhubo “Memela”, visited God Is Great Sports Academy the past weekend to share his Success with them .He gave the Chairman of the Academy ,one of his Awards won in the Kaizer u15 Development Team.In his own words “said” My Coach thank you so much for every role you played in his football journey ,also he thank him regarding his motivation and guidance from the first Day scouted him ,now is showing progress in his football journey , because of him, explained”the exposure he gave him ,is very grateful for that , and came to give the award as a way of Appreciation for every effort he made for him He like to take this opportunity to say Happy Birthday my Coach and see more years,may Lord Continue to Bless u with everything that your heart desires.His visit was highly appreciated,as he managed to see his former teammates and motivates them during their training highlighted it’s always good to remember where you coming from from, because that’s where Blessing are.
FRUITFUL JOURNEY FOR GOD IS GREAT SPORTS ACADEMY
Parents were very impressed with their visits and the Boys did very well especially the under 17 Division,, winning the top 4 Tournament, and the under 13 lost with Respect to one of the under 15 team in Bethlehem.On behalf of the Management,the Chairman is very Happy and Proud about the initiative and is Confident that lot of talent will be unearthed through the extention, nurtured and be exposed to the Professional for recognition at an early age regarding stages, and is Confident that there more they grow,the more will attract Sponsorships and Donors for their beloved Academy God Is Great,to be fully functional and we’ll equipped.
GOD IS GREAT VISITED JOMO COSMOS DEVELOPMENT
God Is Great Sports Academy visited Jomo Cosmos Development teams u13, 15,17 and 19,on the 25th June 2022,for friendly Games at Rand Stadium (Johannesburg),with the view of exposing the raw talent coming from their Academy to professional Development Level.So that the players can Learn as much as they can.The games will help them to see is possible to make it in Professional Set up , provided the hard work they put on and off the field.The tour went well as the Boys really enjoyed every moment of the exposure, and all thanks to Jomo Cosmos Management for making the outcome happened ,also they warm welcomed of God Is Great players was a Blessing.It was a great Motivation from Mr Bamuza Sono after the games , also encouraging them to take their Football Career seriously ,Work harder and Stay Discipline.Mother’s day present to our beloved Academy friends and followers,At Monontsha Stadium with entertaining Football,the players display a magnificent performance through out the games regarding our fruitful Sunday program @9am up until 13h00pm.

Great graduates from God Is Great Sports Academy from Manontsha QwaQwa,who joined Kaizer Chiefs Development U/15 team in Gauteng Province,Last year (2021)April.After spending 3 years with God Is Great Sports Academy,he worked harder in his first season (2021/2022) at Kaizer Chiefs to walk away with the following Awards interms of his Achievements:Player Of the season:Best midfielder of the season:Top goal scorer of the season. The ceremony was held at Naturena earlier this year (2022).”Memela as he was commonly known from God Is Great,is the best ever player produced by the Academy.Mr Victor Mlangeni known as Coach Vigos also is the Academy owner”said” as the owner of the Academy,which he started as a way of giving back to the Community.He is extremely happy for what this young talented left footer has achieved.After all this years that had been looking for the big opportunities for him.His glad that he grabbed the opportunity with both hands and utilized it to the fullest and, remember this was just his first season at Kaizer Chiefs, which is one of the Biggest teams in South Africa, coming directly from God Is Great Sports Academy , and it shows that our development programs are on the right track.God Is Great Sports Academy s’ Achievements speaks volume.According to them , what this young has achieved is remarkable also will be a motivation for upcoming players from Bethlehem where the boy comes from and QwaQwa Community at large where they based.The technical team of God Is Great Sports Academy emphasized Development Football is very key in South African Football,it doesn’t matter where you come from,for as long as you know what you want in life .
